Thank you for considering whether to hire us. When we receive your intake form, we will contact you to set-up a consultation. However, submitting this form does not form an attorney-client relationship.
ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
You can be assured that our representation does not begin until you hire me through a written agreement. We customarily gather information and have an initial consultation. Then we send you an engagement letter that lays out a scope of work and our fee.
Our agreement is formed once you agree to the engagement letter.
This arrangement gives you the freedom to choose who you want to hire, while you receive some free legal advice in the interviewing process.
CONFIDENTIALITY ATTACHES DURING CONSULTATION
We owe you a duty of confidentiality even if you don’t hire us. This means that we must guard and keep confidential all the information you share during your consultation.
